Google, YouTube & Google Calendar data usage

Booking availability (calendar.readonly). ViralSpinAI Scheduling requests read-only access to your Google Calendar. We read only the busy/free times on your calendar, and only to decide which slots your public booking page should offer, so that you are never double-booked. We do not create, edit or delete events, and we never sell or transfer this data. Disconnecting your calendar stops the access immediately.

Google Photos B-roll (photospicker.mediaitems.readonly). ViralSpinAI opens Google’s own Picker so you can choose your own photos and videos to use as B-roll in the video you are editing. We receive only the items you select in that picker — never your whole library — and use them solely to build your video. We do not browse, index or scan your library, and we do not write anything back to Google Photos.

YouTube publishing (youtube.upload, youtube.readonly). With your permission, ViralSpinAI publishes a finished video to your own YouTube channel when you ask it to, and reads your connected channel’s name, avatar and subscriber count so the app can show which channel a post will go to. We cannot edit, delete or comment on your videos, and we cannot see anyone else’s private channel data.

With whom Google user data is shared

This is the complete list. Google user data means your Google account identity, data read from your YouTube channel, and the Google Photos items you pick.

• Supabase (our database and file storage) and Vercel (our hosting) — every category above passes through or is stored on this infrastructure, as processors acting on our instructions. Picked Google Photos items are copied into your private area of our storage so your project keeps working after Google’s short-lived links expire.
• Google Gemini API — when you use AI editing features, each photo or video you picked is analyzed by Gemini to produce descriptive tags (what is in the shot, its mood, its orientation) so the editor can match footage to your script. We use the Gemini API under its paid developer terms, under which Google does not use the submitted content to train its models.
• OpenAI API — receives no Google Photos media itself. It receives text derived from the Gemini tags (to build search embeddings) and, when you edit a video that has an audio track, that audio for transcription. The OpenAI API does not train on data submitted through it.
• No one else. The other AI providers we use (DeepSeek, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Replicate, fal.ai) do not receive Google user data — our routing sends Photos-derived data only to the two services above. We do not share Google user data with advertisers, data brokers, analytics companies, or other users.

Limited Use. ViralSpinAI’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell it, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine learning models. No human reads it except with your permission, to resolve a support issue you raised, for security, or where required by law.

Revoking access. Disconnect inside ViralSpinAI, or revoke directly from Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
